I'll have to do some work leading up to it, but it won't be too bad. I have two 1TB HDDs in my desktop right now, one of which I'll be keeping for storage. So, I'll get that formatted in the morning and back stuff up to it before I tear apart the computer and put the new drive in. Once I get it in, installing Windows 10 won't take very long. I'm going to create a new install drive that has the latest version, which will be a time saver as far as installing the system and updates. Then it's just software installation and configuration after that. Physically, it's a smaller drive, but in terms of storage it's twice the capacity of either of my drives and it is newer tech.

i'm tossing up moving to them for storage or watching sad M.2 prices.

My client / Boss just passed away due to what I believe is complications of his cancer.

So it's a kinda bad day here. he was well-liked.

That's rough, sorry for your loss Scott

he was fine that afternoon I was talking with him.  heck, he even went out that evening with his wife. they won tickets to a show or something from a radio station and was out with his wife, just before the COVID lockdown was forming.

picture of him with his wife that night he looked vibrant healthy and happy.  It's just my unqualified opinion that its was damage left from his cancer treatments that caused a cascade-like failure of his organs.
He was obviously tested for COVID at the start and was negative, they legally would have had to tell us and quarantine us if it was COVID.

His wife is a nurse, he is survived by her and two children.

He was the only one who check in with me when I was stuck at work for 52 hrs during the big snowstorm. He was my client rep. ther person in the building in charge of our contract.

just sad.

I am heartily sorry, Scott.  There is a dearth of good people, and I am sad to hear of the passing of a good man.

its been a rough week , talking teh teh few peoepl who pop in  to get stuff from thier office.

i have to remove his name fomr all teh documentation and such to point to teh  person temp filling in .


but yeah   its sad. 

I am sorry that you are still having to deal with the fallout from the passing of your friend and coworker.

On the other hand, your Holodeck Program picture was hysterical!

I too am sorry to hear you have to deal with all of that, Scott. It must be hard.
