I was supposed to code unit commands. so fighting could be given but got sidetracked on shader toy site and working on replacement water shader code.

I bought a Star Trek and Green Lantern crossover earlier. Unfortunately, it's JJ Trek, but the possibilities were too fun to pass up.

Oooo!  I didn't know about Kuri being in the comic!  I may have to buy it.  Did you get the physical comic or the Comixology version, or perhaps the Kindle version?

Whatever you do in the end, I'm sure will be cool to look at!

Yeah, I was thinking the name was familiar. Then, out of the blue, I decided to watch that episode and had an "ah ha!" moment. I have the Kindle version, which is the same as the Comixology version.

Sweet!  I've seen references to this on two boards today, so that's the universe telling me to buy it.  Thanks!

Shit, I could have told you to buy it. They really did a great job of not only blending the universes, but also of being respectful of the specific versions they were adapting. It wouldn't have fit to have had the look of TAS and G1 Transformers, but to have the characters act like they do in the newer movies.

I already grabbed a copy!

Did I tell you I also grabbed the Trek/Green Lantern crossover? It's done in JJ Trek style, but that's OK. I've read some of the IDW JJ Trek stuff, and I like it better than the actual movies. Besides, it was $5 for the Kindle.

Also, it has the JJ Trek version of General Chang in it.

Got back from Silverstone yesterday, what a fun weekend that was.
Like him or hate him, there is no denying it. Lewis Hamilton is one of the greatest drivers of all time.
He now only has two records to break, The most races won by a single driver and three more Championship. (the other records that he has not broken are down to age.)

But it was not all fun and games. I dropped my phone maybe a foot onto a gravel floor. The phone has a screen protector on it, but it did F'all in protecting it, even though it got a grantee. The screen now got a major chip in it, but still working as it was only the glass that broke not the display. I had a look to see how much it cost to repair and it a bloody Joke. £229.99 from Samsung or buy the part on E-bay for £25 and do it myself but void the warranty. (broken screen are not cover by the warranty.)

Anyway to finish off on a light note. I got all the Panelling done on the bottom of my saucer for the refit Ent.
Will start cut in windows today, and them move onto the impulse engines at which point I'll have something to show.

It's good to hear you had a good time at the race. That sucks about the phone, though. With those devices, it's all about how they fall and what hits where. A screen protector won't help with a sharp object impacting the screen, unfortunately. They mostly help against scratches, no matter what claims they make.

Yeah, that's why I put my phones inside something like a Rhino or Otter covers.  They cover the whole phone in either metal or rubber.  I dropped my phone yesterday (I was tired) on a ceramic floor and nothing happened.

Sorry about your phone, Dean.  I'm glad you had a good time otherwise.

I had an OtterBox Defender for my iPhone SE. It was OK, but too damn bulky. Most shock absorber cases will protect from drops, but it sounds like he dropped it just wrong on an uneven surface. There's not much you can do about that. The OtterBox screen protector might have helped, but maybe not even then.

Yeah apart from the phone, it was a great weekend.

As for the phone, yeah it got a drop cover, which will absorb the impact.
But it does not cover the screen. The screen protector I put on it is meant to be able to take an impact as well. They did a detonation with hitting a phone with it on with a hammer and using a screwdriver all over the screen with a hammer hit that and it did no damage they even let you have a go to prove that they are not hitting it lightly, yet on mine it stone does the damage. go figure!
