I felt I had to because in order to learn how Godot does networking I converted one of tier 2D (MIT Lic) demos to 3D . made a few assets quickly using Godot's shapes, and a rock.obj . LOL

mostly for as research and prep for my other game projects.

the w10 64bit exe can be found here if you don't wanna build the game in Godot yourself from the repo.

the 2d runs on w10, and android 9..ish . ( have to support gles3 on your hardware for it to run )
to run on android you have to enable non-store files. I don't have the $ to set up the android store thing yet. Mac computer is working bug mac phone won't be for some time. it's all very pre-alpha. LOl

if anyone wants to play the PC version or try the droid version let me know.

Oh, I thought we could all edit our own posts.  Hm.

yeah I think it was min post count lock or something, ie must make more than 4 posts or such ..  cuz I can now.

Also, I went with phpBB, holy hell there's like a million permissions and stuff for everything.

Scott, that is an incredible game!  I could become addicted to such a game!  The reason I didn't ask for the Android version is that I'm afraid I might play it at work if it was on my phone.

Not sci-fi but hopefully interesting anyway. Over the last while I have been working on developing a technical illustratrion capability. It would be close to my dream job to do this professionally and maybe something I could do freelance. This is a project I started a long time ago and dusted off last week to finish. Its a late 40's British experimental aircraft, the De Havilland 108 Swallow. Came close to supersonic, however all three that were built crashed, killing the pilot in each case. The attached cutaway is the only refrence I had apart from external photos.

I never saw the Vulcan likeness before Dean, but you are right. It must have been an amazing time to be in the aircraft industry or just an aircraft fan, every month some new space age creation taking to the sky.

There are a couple of flaws in this image but I have re-rendered all the parts and fixed it now, just need to recomposit.

The next high detail cutaway I want to finish is a 1927 racing floatplane, hopefullu in the next couple of weeks.

Yeah it was a great time, lots of innovations that came out of the Second World War was making it way into public life which lead to more innovations.
Then the space race happened and even more innovation came out of it.

The current problem is that the world does not have a goals to race towards so more innovations can come out of it.
If the world governments could agree on healing the planet and stop polluting it, we could get some really great innovations form that. Once that goal had been achieved we could look to the stars again and start to colonise our own system, leading to even more innovations and form the innovations that had come out of stopping pollution could also help with setting up those colony's.

Well just got my shipment of calendars so I guess one can release the imagery as amazon always spoils the images even if they are low rez. I have not opened one yet but so far looking at the back it looks to be a good one this year. not so sure about my image but heh.

amazon zoom has a pretty good peek. One thing lately they use a digital image vs a scan anymore so some of the colors are not representative, the one thing I always worry about in explosions etc they look great graded in photoshit but once printed they always lack impact unless your using really high grade paper and really super white paper.

I think Mat Cunningham's image is worth the 10$ in itself.

Well, my store manager decided he was going to do our schedules. (assistant managera directly over us normally do them.) He did two weeks and had things all screwed up. It's fixed for next week, but I get a three day weekend this week. I don't have to be back at work until Sunday night.

Naturally, I took vacation time for the day I'm missing, so no hit to the ol' paycheck for this happy accident.
