Long story short, I'm just now getting back into 3D modeling and animation after a long, looong hiatus. I did some original models in TrueSpace back in the day. But I'm having trouble getting TS and my old 3D file conversion programs started or working properly so I don't have to rebuild as well as relearning from scratch.
Any ideas for converting TS's .cob and .scn files? Or, is there a Blender plugin that I haven't found yet?
I'm trying to remember. I converted from TrueSpace 3D years ago when they sank the software. I do believe that it is possible to pull files into Blender.
Give that a try. I'm trying to remember how I did it. Don't try to open the original file, instead export the file from TrueSpace and try to open that.
