I really need to get on here more often..

Anyways, Been working on practically all the Babylon 5 ships to get them out and printed, but now that's complete.. I get to get back to something interesting for me

So now, I'm doing the Discovery Enterprise!
Meshweaver put up an ortho of the ship, and it seems to be from the Maya show model that he converted to Lightwave. Things look correct to me, though the Eaglemoss booklet shows a slightly different model, but its not correct to what was on screen.. owell.. close enough

So I've been at this for bit over a week, and have the saucer and the Warp engines Done  and ready for print ( all booleaned up) and the neck and Eng hull blocked up, just need to add details.

Its for print so some details are abit simplified.

So, I'll be back on here more often

Not a huge fan of this redesign but it still better than that monstrosity we got in the JJ films.

Looks like you built a great model there though.

That looks great so far. I like the Enterprise design John Eaves did for Discovery, it's easy the best looking Starfleet ship on the show.

Welp, All done!

Finished up the Engineering hull and warp pylons..
Its "almost" ready for printing, just need to decide on what the parts breakdown will be, thinking eng hull and neck, saucer, and pylons and nacelle together.. .. but need to combine them all for the gaming miniature prints..

So, here we are!

Okay my next 3d model is the Magee class USS Shran from Disco Inferno.. But theres a problem..  I now have some pre production art for it so I can flesh it out abit more than it was.. ( I mean sereiously.. They phoned in the 3d model.. no detals.. Its what we call a 20 foot model.. Looks great from 20 feet away but up close its like.. ugh.. )
So no Dish, no shuttle bay.. and the window placement is all jacked.. Have it at 225 meter length, and the deck height works at 4 meter decks.. but the windows are not right.. at all.. ugh.. okay..

So all blocked off, and mostly done, just details to add and made ready for print.!

BTW, "Disco Inferno" threw me for a loop for a minute.  I was thinking, "The song by the Trammps?"  THEN it hit me!  Disco!  LOL!

Not my favorite design, but your work is always fantastic. No doubt, that ship wasn't meant to be seen up close. As we all know, that's an old Hollywood trick, you do less detail (and, thus, less work) on things that are meant to be seen at a distance. I don't recall that one ever getting very close to the camera.

Not a fan of this ship, but you done some fine work on her.

She does not say Star Trek to made, it come across as something that belongs in a 50'S B movie about fly saucers.

Put the Deflector dish on the bottom of the saucer, and shapped it like one of the other Disco fever ships dish cutout and dish shape.
Not much to her, just wanted something simple.. ( Yeah right.. I can't just leave a non detailed ship..)

So, next is.. something Star Wars I think.. Maybe the Ghost or the Krenic shuttle.. Burned out on Star Trek!
