who remembers this one?
While its an old tutorial set, I loaded the model into max2020 just fine. All the methods I used are still viable today. The set is going to be re-released for free on the 3d-palace YouTube channel later this week.
Nice! I love the original Cylon Raiders.
I don't remember you building that.
But it is cool!
That's very cool, Lee!
Thanks guys, the Raider tutorial is up on the 3d-palace youtube channel if you want to see it.
More work on Slave one.

Caught the greeble bug...
A veritable greeble palooza!
Loving the details mate!
Looking fantastic, bro.
That's an awesome bug you've caught. Nice work
Thanks guys. Finalized the Details of that section. only thing left is the armor plate that sits over top then I can move on to the central turbine.
That's wonderfully detailed. :)
That is filled with WOW!
That is freaking cool.
When it come to adding materials and texturing, that going to be a pain.

How much of a pain it's going to be will depend on how many different colors there are and how it's mapped. If it's all one color, throw a basic planar or cubic UV on it and some simple dirt mapping. It's not like it's going to be seen very well.
Awesome work as usual! Loving the progress on this.
Thanks guys

Actually Chris is right, Most of that detail is going to be plated over buy blast protection plates, ol'blue has a very interesting texturing workflow utilizing quixel materials with Arnold renderer in max that will make texturing this area alot easier.
