I know it's not much but I figure out how to do decals in the engine.

so I can place specific details as decals complete with most PBR textures/materials.

so logos stripes structures.   

oh and tru volumetric fog can also be emissive.

Baby steps ... but OMG Vulcan makes sit easy to make stuff look good.

I will keep chipping away.

I am also working on networking it all at the same time. That way it won't be a challenging hurdle at the end.

Lots to do, but what is done is going down very well.

I am concerned about how debris and asteroids will work and look. so I suppose I will start chipping at them too soon.

I have been playing with AI for making back grounds.

I have also found with much prodding I can force the AI to do more than just back grounds.

ALl 100% AI generated from text prompts and tweeking and re-rolling .
