Now I am trying to bridge the nacelle design between the Paris and the Class J, this is the stepping stone I am pondering atm.

HI guys , It's been ages since i had a min .

Sadly 21st of May, my wife was told she has stomach cancer .(wrong BTW , but we wish it was just that )

That wrong prelim diganosis accidentaly given to us by a resident who was not supposed to say anything ,has turned into a non curable genetic liver disease called PBC, essentially it's like having psoriasis on the part of your liver that makes/deals with bile . it slowly damages your liver til lit fails.
No cure , not even with a full or partial transplant , her body will attack any new one the same.
so we are in the staging of that, but she is has full body jaundice. ( yellow head to toe )

But on top of that they are still concerned that she either has a super rare blood disease or a new type of cancer . The liver Doc says it's got to be some rare possibly new blood cancer .
He cancer doc says , that she's sure its a 2nd rare genetic issue called Wilson's Disease(WD) .
both are not cool , but WD is looking to be likely,  its that her body cannot get rid of elemental copper. very slow copper poisoning as your body slowly fills with copper.
so she is slowly filling up with copper, and copper interferes with other reactions .
so as her liver got worse what small amount of it could process copper is now gone.
PBC and WD can happen at same time, but for some PBC cause liver not to be able to process copper , and no WD .  if that's the case that's better , but then what is messing up her blood and having cancer/WD symptoms. It would have to be some brand new cancer, and well it could be curable then .
PBC and WD are genetic and have no cure.


so PBC - for sure .
WD - most probable according to cancer doc , often linked to PBC and PBS
rare or new type of blood cancer - possible  but lower likely hood than WD ( liver doc ) . ie a new cancer never seen before . who the hell wants that . except a cancer .. could be curable .

oh but wait until this year her meds ere 100% to 80% covered. but because of huge snow storm last year i worked 50hrs OT and covid support programs that paid money to essential workers who did not miss any time and kept working ...  gone .

Me, my knee got hurt 14 mos ago , workers did not know what to do during lock down ... i finally get an mri .
but now my other knee is horrible from picking up the slack . an di have to do physio 2 times a week at 2hrs each session .
I find out my kidneys have fallen to 35% functioning now.

I'm quite busy at work . my job description is kind of dynamic and growing rite now.
head of physical security for a federal research building .
but they have figured out i can code and such , so they have expanded my duties and passed some projects to me. stack on the usual HR issues that come with being the boss, because you cant make everyone happy. LOL

the whole time i just wish I could take a chunk of time to be off home, but i have used all my personal vacation time. 
i have 2 weeks of paid family responsibility if i needed it , but Heather is still in diganostic phase . 
she's prepping for her 3 liver biopsy , bunch of tests to confirm WD or possible new type of cancer .

I got a new resin 3D printer this yer , the resin went bad because i just have no time or energy for anything.

My god, Scott, I am so VERY sorry!  I've been sad because COVID-19 messed up my memory, but I'm alive and my wife is okay, as far as we can tell.  So, I'm on the good side, I suppose.  I cannot even really process what you've said!  If there is anything I can do for the two of you, I would want to know!

You're a good fellow.  You always have been, from what I've seen.  This is horrific news and I hope (honest to god, I do) that things somehow turn out better for you and your wife.  I really do.

We had some good? news today .

Cancer doc called to say , negative for Wilsons's Disease...  it just her PBC making her liver not process copper correctly . her levels are on the very high side of normal for people with PBC
lik WD require copper to be 260 units +   and heather is at or below 240, and doe snot have the gold rings in the eye  that copper causes.
because her total copper levels in other tissues are in high but normal .

But of now WD messing with her blood and lymp system .. it's only cancer left.
so Congrats you have some hither to unknown cancer ! yaya ( in ironic fake happy voice )
But cancer so low it's hard to detect .. and just being cancer means curable  or possible to beat .

WD no cure no real fix, if you dont respond well to it and you have liver issues like she does  , life expectancy is about 2 years, because you are ineligable for liver transplants .

But just PBC, if responding to treatment , then  partial live donor liver transplant every 5 to 8 years is a thing .

Oh and yeah ...  it just sunk in, live donor means you dont have to wait for someone with compatible liver to die. it liek 16 grams of live good liver . the donor grows it back in 2 mos. to a year , and can even re-donate in about 4 years .


ther is a possibility the teh  new lil bit of live liver does not get attacked by her immune system as long as she stays on treatment and it may actually grow.  then a few years after if it is growing they may remove some damaged liver to make it easier to grow more good , instead of a 2nd transplant.
and she will just have to stay on liver protective drungs and cnat ever do anything strenuious or consume any hepatoxic stuff.

so no cure but small tansplants, and a possible work arround if she is lucky .

als .. small tid bit .  men are better liver donors then women . our livers do better in recipients male or female.
Our livers just do way better statistically .

so today brought hope. even if ironic.

Hi Guys , I'm back about now .

Heather's doing much better , she does have a genetic auto immune issue that is attacking her liver causing PBC.
But she responds to the ursodal?SP acid pill .

may need transplant some time in the future .

The Cancer thing, well that was looking pretty grim. the liver , and cancer doc could not find it or type it.
even thought it could have been a super rare bad thing that would have preculded her form ever getting a transplant.

the by accident and one of her docs was talking to her and heard some thing that was not evidant in her file . ( large portions of her med file as locked due to ongoing legal issue s and inacuracies as her old fam' doc could not keep her and her twin strait in hi head. )

ANy how  ~10dec hepatologis jumpe dup and said WTF , you have been on  prednisone all your life .. you got healthy and stoppe dneeding it and your puffers , so you have spent your whole child and early adult live on steriods.

~ give her a huge shot of prednisone and say " I believe your body is dependent on it now, and you git healthy enough not to need it and your body suffers . ", so back on it for rest of her life now .

some more testing they found the cancer like effect and signs indicate a couple of genetic whole body auto immune disorders that steroids have suppressed her whole early life . Manageable   not awesome but she way better and her full body jaundice is going .

so in short she got healthy and almost died from it .

I farting about a bit more, figuring out what the options do and re-learning blender.

Trying out some kitbashing to get a feel of it again.

I smashed some shapes and tweaked settings and was able to bag out some organic ish shapes I like.

At the least, it's a fun toy.

tomorrow I will try to get these in-game, see how they look.  they are nice and low poly .

Your work is PHENOMENAL!  The first three shots you posted look like pictures of physical models!  Wow!  The fourth is nice, but those first three blow my mind!
