Title: Game Asset Development Thread
Post by: Malach on Sep 19, 2019, 04:46 am
Hey guys!  I'm here, and I'm still alive!

I know, shocker, right?

Anyway, been working on some various projects, mostly geared towards game development, and I wanted to start a new thread where I'm showing off WIPs of stuff I'm working on.  I have two games in active development, a hover combat racing game, and an RPG Survival game.

This here is a manor house that I've been working on for 4 1/2 hours and I really like how it's coming along.

Just for shits and giggles, I decided to do a quick workup of my take on the Star Wars MG-7A Proton Torpedo.  Instead of the conical warhead, and the spherical section in the middle, I reworked the design.  It's still roughly 6" in diameter, which would fit with the visible torpedo tubes seen in ANH.

Also, this was my first time using the new Arnold renderer and Arnold lighting.  Let me know what you think!

That looks nice, bro. I'd maybe tone down the overhead light a bit, but the photon bounce hitting the bottom is really well done.
