Recently got a new tablet, an older model Surface that came with a pen, so I've started drawing again. This time I'm using Sketchbook Pro. Learning how to use some of the brushes and settings. Here is a couple of my early doodles. Some are in various stages of completion, I may go back to some. Trying out a lot of the tools and techniques a long the way. I may continue working on some of them but no guarantees. As always, thoughts, comments, nitpicks, likes and dislikes are welcomed and appreciated.
Looking good, Ozy. Way better than anything I could do. I don't know why, but the cave one is my favorite. It's simple, but you did the lighting so well.

Thanks!
The cave is one of the first ones I did, I was experimenting with a feature that lets you raise or lower the brightness of the current color you're using. It ended up making the cell shading type effect on that one.
Those are excellent, but my favorite is probably the guy in the spacesuit. Excellent work!
Thanks!
Here is a new one I've been working on lately, it's based on a concept sketch for Homeworld 2
That's a nice looking image so far, Ozy. The line work looks nice and clean. I think I own Homeworld 2 on GOG, but I have yet to play it. (I have a bad habit of buying games and indefinitely saving them for later)

I have the same habit!
And I agree, Ozylot. I like the premise and would enjoy seeing more!
Thanks guys, it's all about time, when I get to it...etc
Here is a somewhat significant update...because I had a bit of time.
Color, shading, detailing... I want to say it's close to done, but then wondering how much more can I poke at it?
That looks nice. I like the colors.
That's a great looking Pic.
Never play Homeworld or Homeworld 2, so I have not idea what it is. ;)
Thanks guys!
It's supposed to be a mining ship. They were used to collect resources from asteroids and things.
In HW1 they used ships that were called Resource collectors. They would fire something like a tractor beam at various rocks in game. The rocks would shrink and disappear slowly.
In HW2 they used something like this ship, that was called a 'worker'. It seemed to use more mechanical ways of digging at space rocks.
Thanks for the explanation.
Excellent work, Ozylot! I love the planet/moon in the background!
